Private Speech Therapy Fees — Clear, Transparent and Discussed Upfront

We believe our charges should be transparent and easy to understand.

Here is a simple guide to how our private speech therapy costs works depending on your situation.

If You Are Funding Therapy Yourself

Pay As You Go — You pay for each session individually, in advance of the appointment. This is a flexible option that suits people who prefer not to commit to a block of sessions upfront, or who are just starting out and want to see how things go.

Session Packages — If you know you are likely to need ongoing support, we also offer session packages at a fixed rate — which can work out better value over time. Payment for packages is made upfront. We will talk through the current options during your initial consultation so you can decide what feels right.

If You Are Funded Through a Medico-Legal or Case-Managed Pathway

For clients whose therapy is funded through a personal injury claim, clinical negligence case or case-managed rehabilitation programme, we invoice monthly. Our invoices are clear and itemised, and come with session records that are suitable for legal and case management purposes.

We are very familiar with how medico-legal funding works and are happy to liaise directly with case managers, deputies or legal teams — so that the administrative side of things does not become an additional burden for anyone.

If You Are Exploring Other Funding Options

If you think therapy might be fundable through an insurance policy, a local authority or another route and you are not sure where to start, please just mention it during your free call. We will do our best to advise on what documentation we can provide and how to support a funding application.

We are recognised by BUPA, AXA, Vitality and Aviva.

Paying for Sessions

Payment is made by bank transfer or online card payment — whichever is easiest for you. We will share all the details you need at the point of booking.

Cancellations

We completely understand that life does not always go to plan. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please just let us know as early as you can and we will always do our best to find another time that works.

We do ask for at least 24 hours notice on weekdays where possible. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will need to be charged at the full session fee — but we will always try to be as flexible as we can in genuinely difficult circumstances.
